2007 Penny With Free Mason Mark On It

While going through 40 rolls of pennies today I found one with a free mason stamp on it. Why is it there and what does it mean?

    Welcome to the forum!

They are counterstamps made as trinkets.
There are many different masonic ones, some have embossed designs and some are flat.
No real big value but they are collectable and you'll see some on ebay.

Here's some pics from an old thread I posted pics for:

The 1969 is a Mason symbol.

This one has the G symbol stamped into it. So why is this done and by whom?

The 69 I posted also has the G. The G stands for God.

They have their symbols. Like the square (L thing) and compasses. I think it relates to that masons were originally brick masons (the word mason like masonry) so those were used to design what they made.

They were probably given out at meetings or events.
