    199XP is it a 1992P or 1993P?

Sorry for the dark crappy photos, it's a dark coin that has soaked in mineral oil and acetone to try to make it better. May need Will on this one. But, would it even matter if it is a 92 if the 2 is not there? At some angles it kinda looks like a 3 and some angles a 2. Thank you for looking and helping me out!!

Viv take a shot of the bow tie, in 92 there is a split on the lower right corner to it
in 93 the split was removed

Thank you John! I knew we had other design experts around here!! Here's the bow tie. I see something there, but I don't think it's a split

Nope not a split so not a 1992
I just posted on another thread this idea
I picked up a 1959 to 1998 book all the coins were au to ms and If I am not sure on something I go and look at the same year and mint mark that I am researching
in this case you could get out a 1992 and a 1993 and compare them to your coin
might be a good investment, or put one together yourself.

Thank you very much John!! I have a Warman's Lincoln Cents 1959 - 2009 with just about all of the coins in it that I have found that are AU. I need to start doing that, like you said; use them for comparisons!
