    1988 Double Ear?

Hi all, know this may be nuts, but I have to at least ask. I cannot find a pic to compare, I understand there is only 1.
Was looking for some shiny zincs to do my kitchen floor with, crazy maybe, polyurethane it, easy to clean. Doing a test tile first.
So I see this gem especially for almost 30 years old! Well I must look closer before it's floor material. Would appreciate your opinions, my pics haven't gotten much better, but if ya can't see it ... Game Over
Hope everyone is Happy & healthy!
Hope you can click on these, been a while since I posted Whoa they are definitely large enough!

Try and get a pic image the size of pic 3 but in focus. that one is to blurry
I am thinking it is a hit on the earlobe.
the coin you are thinking of is listed on copper coins as 1988P-1DO-010
    LINK
if you draw a line using front of Lincoln's lips on a normal cent it goes to the bottom of the ear lobe.
on The doubled ear lobe coin in question has an extra ear lobe way below that mark
If you draw a line from the lips to the bottom of the original ear lobe
and then draw a parallel line that starts at the bottom of the doubled ear it would be at the bottom of the bottom lip.
Yours (being blurry) does not look like it is that low.
See if you can get a better pic

Looks like a hit to me... There are a lot of these with this damage... My opinion is that it has something to do with the coin rolling machines but that is just my opinion!!!

                      Hey Tery,

That would be a pretty big project. I can imagine doing something smaller like a counter or bar top, you must be feeling pretty spunky if you're taking on the kitchen. If you do it post some pics

I have a very small kitchen, the most time consuming is I CANNOT LEAVE A PENNY UN-TURNED It has linoleum tiles. So I have a few extra. Will do one of those & if I like it, I can just leave the tile down. Terrazzo underneath that, so it won't be damaged. Grew up w/ Terrazzo, never liked it. If I feel even spunkier, maybe a back splash? All my cabinet are dark stained wood, lighten it up some. Dick, Wavy Coop, Bob, Chuck, Rocco & any one I forgot from CC still around?
