Which Coin Shops/Sites Buy Super Rare Coins?

Wondering if anyone has any experience with reputable coin places that look for and buy $100,000+ coins? If anyone knows any websites, names and phone numbers and etc. I would appreciate it.

Legend and pinnicle coin are high dollar dealers. There are many others but these 2 come to mind

If the super rare coin is a 74 aluminum cent, better research the issues with the other existing P mint aluminum cents and/or talk to a coin expert lawyer before putting it for sale to avoid any problems. Maybe one of the big auction places like Heritage could give advice or steer you to advice and sell it once you have the answers about the legal stuff.

.93 grams-I was told it wasn't illegal to have. I understood it was similar to Ivory. Not illegal to have in your possession. The Smithsonian has one that a former security officer that worked for a Congressman allowed them to put on display. I could be wrong, which is why I am asking. I am quoting what I was told. I know it's one of rarest, if not the rarest coin, produced from the US Mint. Aside from the 1974-D Aluminum which was stamped, illegally, by an employee and since has been returned.

Thanks. Appreciate it. Something rare with lots of urban legends, potential legal issues and etc. I would want a high end dealer to help with the transfer of ownership and what not. So appreciate it.

I do not buy or sell coins... I am not sure what the weight for the aluminum is suppose to be but at .93 grams it is not a plated cent The last I heard is that it was illegal to own these but things do change... I hope you find a really good dealer to help handle this for you... Nothing like an unexpected wind fall to blow you away

Where did you get the coin? Could it be counterfeit?
