    The pictures are not oriented appropriately and from what I can see, there is no re punched mint mark on this coin. The RPM is on every over date for this business strike coin. Needless to say I do not see evidence on the date either. Ergo, this is not the variety you hoped for.

        Yes this is a 1960-D Small Date. What you are seeing on the 69 is part of the working die design. In other words a lot of the 60-D small dates have these what look like Re cut 96 but are actually part of the working die being used.

            Actually, choosing the best answer is best done somebody with a little more experience...(like Admin or mods) when newbies are concerned

              Very Good to know. The question that was asked could be viewed from other directions. Very good to know the poster of the question doesn't always have the ability to choose for them selves. I guess maybe I should just not comment on the Q/A then. Only a few folks seems get there answer picked or the topic gets moved. Very good to know.
