Do you see some diagnostic of an SMS?
The odds are about 135 million to one that a 64-P would not be an SMS and that ignores that the known ones came from a mint directors estate or something like that so they weren't randomly out there unless by some fluke released.
About 2.7 billion normal ones made and about 20 SMS known.Comment

I moved your post to a new thread... That way you will get more looks and replies... More pics would be great... Also let us know what you think is on your coin... That will help us determine what you do have!!!Jim

Special Mint Set.
Edit: ????? Not sure what happened to the site with my reply "Special Mint Set". I originally quoted Viv but her quote didn't show up. When I went back to edit and add her quote, somehow my unedited reply to Viv's question was chosen as the "Best Answer".
And "Special Mint Set" is not the best answer because this isn't a SMS coin.
????????

Cliff, it's all okay! I was able to reset the best answer so we don't have to call in Jim to the rescue

You are welcome Casperestes! You taught me something new today, I was not aware of there being so few of the 64P SMS Lincoln cents. Thank you Ed! And thank you Cliff for getting me going in the right direction. We are all still learning!!!Comment
