Can a coin show both machine doubling and doubled die errors?

I think all you have there is Machine Doubling. We did have a discussion about the two being combined awhile back but I could not find it. Machine doubling happens when the coin is actually struck and if an existing Doubled Die were being struck there would be no reason why it could not have MD also though.
