    1988D DDR or abrasions???

Jon (makecents) cent this one to me to look at and hopefully get some good pics... I do not believe there is a DDR of the steps along the bat bottoms but there are a few areas that I am not sure of... They are in B5 thru B9 and I pointed to them with blue arrows... They are thicker than the other lines... The ones that I believe are abrasions do follow in a somewhat same angle as the possible steps but also at slightly different angles... Thanks Jon for letting me look at and get pics of this coin for you!!!

I agree with you that they appear to just be die scratches.

Thank you once again Jim, great work as always!! Sorry I didn't give you an OOOHHH, AAAAWWW moment with an actual DDR! I'm not sure what my doubled steps issue was with these two coins but that was all I could see! The pics are great and show what appears to be, as you said, abrasions. Thank you again for all your hard work!

Very nice photos Jim and it's great that you take the time to help us with these tough ones! Also, nice to see Will chime in and help us out!

Jon... there was one that you had with heavy multiple lines in one bay and some lighter lines in other bays. Has Jim already posted that one? I saw one other but it didn't seem like that was it.

Here is the pic Jim got of the other one, the 98p Spike Head with what I thought was doubled steps also. Link (http://www.lincolncentforum.com/foru...7&d=1535453679)

            And the post (http://www.lincolncentforum.com/foru...-steps!!/page2)
