Those pics are much better... That fone holder should do you good for getting pics... Another thing that helps is getting a pic straight on instead of at an angle... When at an angle, with the exception of angle pics when trying to show things like separation of a cud or lamination, the view actually becomes distorted... Now back to your coin... The area between the tops of the letters in IGWT is from die wear... Notice how the field rises up toward the rim... Over time the wear makes the devices look elongated and doubled and it gets much more prevalent than what your coin exhibits... On LIBERTY it looks like die/circ wear and some hits... Hope that helps a bit!!!

Added - I am almost finished with the overlays and will get them posted a little later... There appears to be 2 events with a possible 3rd???

An event is each time the dies strike each other with no coin in the chamber creating a clash... On your coin I am not sure the obv die is the mate to the clashes on the rev... I can not see any clash events on the obv... When the clash event is lite, abraded or worn away it can be difficult at best to get a pic of it... You have to play with your lighting and get a good angle for the clash to show up... The rev looks to have 3 clash events... I number them and used color coded arrows... Since the coins are at slightly different angles to the camera lens it was a little difficult to get the alignments correct... The toughest was Event 3 (E3)... At the rim the arrow has a question mark... That should be a part of the L of LIBERTYs horizontal bar but due to the angle it is slightly out of alignment... The dies were misaligned with E2 being the farthest out... Thanks for letting me do the overlays!!!

That is cool, so bits of the obverse are showing on the reverse?

Yes... When the dies clashed parts of the designs were transferred to the opposing die... In your case since there are no clash marks on the obv most likely it is not the mate to this rev... Take a look thru the MAD (Misaligned Die Clash) site http://www.maddieclashes.com/ and you will see some really awesome clashes both typical and atypical!!!
