Is there a way to clean up a penny without harming the value of it, like let it soak in lime juice or salt and vinegar etc...? Ive seen it done but not sure if it hurts the pennies? Im not talking high dollar coins, just everyday circulated lincolns
Pure acetone (not fingernail polish remover) has always been my go to thing. But, many of the guys here have used some other products and techniques that they found to be successful. Maybe they will chime in... or you can search threads and find more information.
