    1962D jaw die chip?

    It appears he has a die chip or something growing on and out of his jaw lol

    Can't really tell from the pic but it looks like on both sides of the anomaly is incuse which would indicate PSD and when coins take a hit, the hit can either look just incuse like an indented scratch, or the hit can cause metal to move and look like a bump. If I were you, I would just set coins like this aside until you are able to take better pics because it really needs to be up close for us to be able to see better.

        Looks like a hit (PSD) to me also... What ever caused it gouged out and displaced some of the metal mostly to the west... That is why it is raised on the west side... Hope that helps a bit!!!
