Does anybody know what the backstory is on the stamping of this 1969? I know it is the date of the moon landing but can't find much info on the internet

That's exactly what it is, the first moon landing. People counterstamp coins just for the novelty of it. I do not know if there will be any thing on the moon landing counter stamp but you may be able to find out some info from NASA???
