Die cracks at the corners of the memorial are very common. I have found a few with cracks at all 4 corners. The bubble at the E looks like a plating blister. You can try to push on it hard with a toothpick ad see if it collapses.All opinions expressed are not necessarily shared by willbrooks or his affiliates. I think the mint uses almost all of the dies until they explode
I think the mint had the cracking at the corners of the memorial pretty well under control by the 1990s... I haven't seen near as many with the corner cracks since 1990... They still have problems with plating bubbles tho!!!
