I was searching a roll today and found 5 1960 and 5 1960-d coins. Do I have some small and large dates here? if so which ones are the valuable ones? Can use your help on this one- thanks--BILL

Looks like you have all four, a P & D of SDs and LDs. Nice finds but unfortunately none are valuable in circulated condition - and I'll add the '60P SD isn't really worth that much in BU, just a few bucks...

I guess Jason and Brad are correct; from the thumbnail the last pic sort of looks like a SD but when you open it up it looks more like a LD. That's what I get for responding too quickly.
To get an idea of premium, just look them up on eBay and check the going rate for BU examples.

Hi Bill,
People sometimes go to great lengths to explain how to tell the two dates apart.
If you look at the date closely you can actually see the Small Date has the 1 and 9 extremely close to the same height. The small date also has a 0 which is smaller and has a slightly egg-shaped interior. The Large date has a taller 9 than the 1, and the 0 is larger and has a very round center.
Some times I cannot tell them apart until I get the loupe out and check them carefully.
I hope this helps.
