      I see the MD in the One, and maybe the R, but the 7,2, & maybe the 9 in the date are well rounded and spread a bit. The WE looks a lot like the Copper coin.com example of a DDO for the same year.

      You sure of it being strictly a MD and not maybe a combo of a DDO and an MD?

      just a thought.

        The only example on CC is a proof and the MM is in a different location. The coin shown happens to be my example that both Bob and John Wexler used.

        MD can be present on the same coin as Hub Doubling. It just isn't that common and everything I see looks more like MD than anything else...
