1952-S Triple 5?

I found this one not too long ago cherrypicking through rolls of Wheaties. It appears that the 5 has been struck several times and very evident at the bottom half.

I didn't think it was machine doubling as there were no shelf-like images. I'll shut up and let you decide. Please...all comments are welcome. thx

The distortion in the 5 and 2 appear inconsistent with hub doubling. Not sure what you mean by struck 5 times. I feel like it may be circulation wear causing the distortion.

By stating "Triple 5" I was referring to the notch like features on the lower half of the 5 is all. It looks like it was struck 3 times, but you are probably right-more than likely hub doubling. Thanks for the help.

The 'notches' you make reference to seems like hits. This would make it post mint damage, not hub doubling. It doesn't even qualify as machine damage in this case.
