Cent Larger in Diameter sounds different???

Hi here's a pic of two 1944 Lincoln cents for comparision.
I noticed the sound of the coin before I noticed it was larger than the others.
I makes a sound sort of like a canadian cent?
Anyway it measures .77 inches and weighs less than others

Are you able to get the exact weight of the larger coin?

I do not belive there is a mechanisim that would make a coin larger and still be retained in the collar. That said, the coin's wieght would help, and maybe a picture of the reverse...

A diameter of 19.558 millimeters is quite substantial. Proportional expansion of both faces is impossible, so it's most likely a cent that was pounded between two pieces of hard leather. These are called "Texas cents", although most are much larger.

I can't account for the abnormally light weight.
