[Example] Die progression of 1956-D RPM#8

A few months back a person asked for pictures of the die progression for 1956-D RPM#8. Without shooting 25 pics of markers I will show my set of all 5 I have. The Stage "E" photo's Dr Wiles does not have. It shows a new REV Die. These will show how faint the RPM gets over time. Enjoy!

Nice progression! That last pic must show a restamp???? of UNUM. You can see the die deterioration than all of a sudden it is fixed. lol Very cool set!

The last photo is of a new reverse die. The stage "D" die broke/Took out of service and the OBV Die was struck with a new REV die for what I figure is Stage "E"

That must be the progression, I never thought about the replacement of the rev die. Interesting.

Thanks Eric. This is a great RPM, and unlike some others, there is not doubt that that is a D in field. A must have for RPM collectors!
