Is that an older slab? I thought the newer slabs seem to be sealed pretty well. One would think they would try to do their best to seal them so things like this wouldn't happen. Wouldn't this type of oxidation lower the grade of the coin and thus the grader's reputation since it is in their slab? I think Jason got it right if there isn't a way to better seal the slabs.
