    2010 Cent

Has anyone found any new varieties on any of the 2010 P or D cents yet? I have not...even trail dies...nada. Also, I'm sure it's no secret, but, as copper prices rise, pre-1982 copper cents are worth almost 3x face value, at melt....maybe someday it will be legal to melt pennies....in the mean time, I have stashed ALL copper cents in a huge mint bag(60+ pounds so far), and, I buy small lots off ebay...they are usually not searched, and, your odds go WAY up finding the big-time varieties...69-S, 72-P, 71-P, on and on....I get a lot of 69-S in these mixes, and a ton of 1980-P's....it's just a matter of time before I'll get a good DDO/DDR....I split my hunting between bank boxes of 25 dollars, 50 rolls, and, these ebay lots...I am going to buy a Ryedale sorting machine soon, and really go to town.
    Thanks

There have been a few traildies, one or two minor doubled dies, and a small cud, I believe.

Definitely some trails found, and yes some DDOs and we had one nice clash show up and a lathe line example too. Nothing like 2009, but not totally dull...

My very first 2010 penny that I received had trails on it.

It's a bird! It's a plane! Aw nuts... It's merely two die scratches!

I found one that had trails, a clash that's featured in one of Billy's DVN, and one CUD that will be featured in the next issue of DVN #22.
JC, I didn't know you had one with lathe lines!
