2003 Some collectors are saying they have double-die types but the US Mint says its the grain of the metal that makes the steps on the reverse look this way. Up-date 3/1/2004: Three variety experts Ken Potter, John Wexler & Billy Crawford disagree with the US Mint, they say that these cents are double-die coins. Check areas below columns for signs of doubling (columns go into steps) & look at the FG, designers initials some show what apear to be "Trails"
2006 Doubled Die Obverse Doubling in Liberty and to a lesser extent other text and date.
2006 Doubled Die Reverse (Extra Knees) Lincoln appears to have an extra set of knees. You will need a good magnifying glass to see this.Comment

More info
Hello all,
Great thread!
One thing to add. 2 actually. Over my months of researching Lincoln cent Die Varieties, I've found that the Coveted 1955 DDO was released in NY and Western Mass and that both of the 1982 SmDt DDR's were found in Mass as well.
As a kid I always said I'd NEVER live in Mass, but here I am and happy to be in such good company.
Happy Hunting
