I'm not sure what your question is Rollem. Is the MM an RPM? The photos are not very clear but I think I see a small split on the upper serif of the MM. It might be 012 based on the MM location.

Thanks, had not noticed that. I have been staring at the D/D or md? on the mm. With the shine is hard to get clear pictures.

The coin looks like a re-coated Steel. I have a few copies of RPM#12. Here is a pic of #12 stage "B", if your coin has the die scratch between the one and nine; it's a match to mine...

Nice Eric. And your right about Rollem's coin looking like its replated.

Rollem, I hope the die scratch is there and you can put that one to bed.

Your right about the coating. Just looked it does not have the die scratch.

Try to match the position to my coin. It still may be a later die stage. We really need a close up....
Scratch that - I looked at your last pic compared to mine. Notice the position of the primary mintmark is different than mine. It's not #12...

Try to get a better pic if possible so we can see if it has serifs...

Could be a RPM... Also under the horizontal bar of the "4" there appears to be something also!!!
