Thanks Billy, I'll surely take a look at it.
It's not the BIG one. What it is... is that it's part of the story behind the 1972 DDO#4 and what happened to cause that variety to become very difficult to locate and why it commands very high price premiums.

Some collectors want to not only obtain the DDO #4 (FS-104) but they also want to have the various stages that goes with the story of that variety. So, those collectors will pay premiums on this 1972 cent that has that particular die scratch at the letter "N" of UNITED which is the key marker for identifying. Otherwise, the coin is a normal 1972 cent that would be face value.

    I hope this helps.

Billy, I was out of the loop for a few months and am missing issues 10-18. Is there anyway of obtaining them. I have them up to 9 and then again from 19 to present. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Okay I get it now. Issue #16 helped clarify what I needed to know about this coin in precise detail.
Thank you again Billy for directing me there.

              Hi
I have sold two 1972 die4 reverses not sure of the stages for 85 and 100 dollars. Both were au. Can anyone point me to the stages? I still have one available if anyone is interested. It was attributed by bob.
