Some collectors want to not only obtain the DDO #4 (FS-104) but they also want to have the various stages that goes with the story of that variety. So, those collectors will pay premiums on this 1972 cent that has that particular die scratch at the letter "N" of UNITED which is the key marker for identifying. Otherwise, the coin is a normal 1972 cent that would be face value.
