That's what I thought too but some times they are different. I know close "A" = far and visversa but the initials often are off just a bit, to me any way.
It does look like Close AM initials to me. Heres pictures of the FG on a 1992 Wide AM penny and a 1999 Close AM Penny. As you can see, in your picture it matches the 1999 Penny instead of the 1992 Penny.
