    09 extra thumb or splint

Hi All, trying to decide if this is extra thumb or just a splint for broken digit?
I now need to check and see if it is a variety LOL.

It looks to be an extra left index finger. I found something like this one the other day. Nice find! I have not yet searched to see if mine matches anything in CC.

Definately a DDR. That one is sometimes called skeleton's finger.
Looks like WDDR-051. Very nice find.

            Check http://www.varietyvista.com

ADDED: It seems VV has taken down the extensive array of DD pics for the 2009 series of LC's. (Bummer)

ADDED AGIAN: OK. Sorry. Wasn't thinking clearly. It wasn't VV. It was this: http://www.doubleddie.com/92301.html

From your images, looks like my CDDR-052/Wexler WDDR-051.

              Congrats on your find!

Billy, are your 2009 listings still available on line? If so, can you give me the site address again. Thanks

Wexler still lists all of his. You can find them here:
Die varieties such as doubled dies, Repunched mint marks (RPMs), Over Mint Marks (OMMs), Repunched Dates, Overdates, coin design varieties, as well as regular coins and error coins.

Rock, I took them down for two reasons: one being I needed to make available additional scarce web space to be able to maintain the current and 3 previous issues of DVN so collectors would have 4 months to download and save a particular issue. Second, since others have them posted on web sites (I.E. Wexler and CC's) then it made sense to remove the duplication since they are all illustrated in detail in my, "A Detailed Analysis of Lincoln Cent Varieties 1909 - 2009" reference CD.

Thanks Billy. I totally understand. Getting your "A Detailed Analysis of Lincoln Cent Varieties 1909 - 2009" reference CD is at the top my to do list when things get a little more caught up around here financially. Completely looking forward to having that resource.
