1988 1c DDO CW Article

For those of you who get Coin World in the latest issue John Wexler pens a nice article in his "Varieties Notebook" column on Chris Beck's discovery of the 1988 1c strong doubled earlobe variety.

Congrats Chris on a great find! As an update, the coin is currently with Ken Potter for review and hopefully it will be assigned an FS# for the upcoming Cherrypickers' Guide update that is soon to be published. Also, I have not heard of any other finds of the variety other than just the discovery coin so far.

Thanks Joe, but, there has to be more out there somewhere. I wonder how many 88s I have looked at for all these years and I know I would not have missed that doubling? At least I would like to believe I wouldn't miss that.
