    How to grade coins.

I'm sorry if this is repetative. I know I saw a thread at one point or other about this but I can't find it. Is there a comprehensive book on this subject that is up to date and universally accepted. I feel the need to get into this phase of collecting. Thanks, George

Don't buy any books yet. I can send you something that will be more than adequate for your needs at no charge. Just PM me.

If I wanted to know how to grade I would go online to websites for the grading/authenticating/slabing sites and read the criteria and average all the descriptions: F VF EF UNC60 UNC63 UNC65 UNC67's. I know PCGS posts the grade ranges, so does one of the others.
