Rainbow 1970S small date with MD

I visited a small coin shop in Long Beach at lunchtime today.

I bundled a few items together (roll of 1969S and a roll of 1948D) along with this 1970S small date Lincoln cent. I guess I paid about 30 bucks for the 1970S when it was all done.

The description on the coin stated that it was "RB Unc". I assumed that meant RainBow Uncirculated because it appears uncirculated (with just a few scratches) and it is quite "rainbowed". The shop owner said it meant "Red/Brown Uncirculated". Any thoughts on that?

Also, when I took a closer look at it, I noticed the mint mark had MD, but would that add or take away from the value?

    Thanks for any comments...

Got pics of the whole coin? I love the 70-S small date cents! It's definately a small date, the MD is minor and doesn't affect the grade. $30 is a great price for a toned, unc small date.

RB in the numismatic world ALWAYS means Red Brown. It's a standard designation for copper coins.

RB is typical for Red-Brown. Most toned coins end up with an RB color rating.
The MD doesn't add or take away from the value of the coin.
      Nice addition!

EDIT: And Thad got here just a tad before me...
