I don't come across many S mints so...

Do the bulges in between the ball points of the and bottom of the S normal? I tried to look on LCR at the different types of mint marks for the S's and I personally didn't conclude anything but..."I'm still unsure?"

I snapped a pic of LIB for reference of dirt that is on the coin, (just to rule that one suspect out)

    Thank you everyone.

      Thank you Jason.

I have to give you credit Jason, no matter how many times people like myself ask these silly repetitive questions, you are always there with an answer and you seem to never grow tired with us or your responses. That is dedication to our hobby. It is nice to have people like you around.

Nice find on the '68! Those are statistically the least probable, which certainly stands true for my own collection- I've only found 3!

Yep, in the midwest they are very scarce. I've only found less than 10 1968-S's out of all my searching. By mintage the 68-S is the key date of the series. Lucky, for collectors, they were widely hoarded in BU and there's plenty of them out there.
