I was just wondering since there have been so many reported ,doubled dies being found on the philly coins.I wanted to know have there been any reports on the Denver minted? Next question is ,do anyone search 2011D cents????

(John) This is only one way to go in my world and that's forward, without a reverse!
Just took back nearly, two bricks of 2011 D's to the bank. I checked through half of them and found one struck through or badly abraded example. After searching 2500 very boring coins I decided I did not have the patience to look through the rest, so back to the bank they went.

I still have better than a brick of 2011Ps I have not had the drive to get to. I take out a roll or two when I'm tired of looking at dirty coins and eventually I'll get through them. I find that you need to have hand rolls or bricks from various locations on hand so that when you get bored with one you can pick up another to break the monotony. Don't see many Ds down here in Miami.
I live in Orange County, California. Most of the Lincolns I see are from the Denver mint. Now, you would think that's a good thing (regarding RPMs), but I don't find that many RPMs (I guess people are searching them too well around here).
I still see lots of San Francisco cents (anybody want some?).
Now, regarding the 2010 and 2011 cents...
I have searched many, many BU rolls of 2010D and found only a couple of die cracks. Big deal.
I have searched many BU rolls of 2011D and found absolutely nothing.
In common change or bank rolls, I find about 5-10% 2010D or 2011D, but (collectively) I have not found enough 2010P or 2011P to fill half of a plastic coin tube.
The same goes for 2009 (all four types). While they are steadily disappearing from change and rolls, I have gathered quite a few rolls of each type (2009D), but again, collectively, I have not found enough 2009P to fill even a half plastic coin tube.
So, when I travel east, I always make a point of picking up a few rolls here and there.

(((Sorry, I had to get in on this convo. I'm envious that you guys can get them by the thousands here, while I'm lucky if I get 5 from a roll of Canadian)))
Why don't we do a swap. I'll swap any Denver unsearched rolls for Philly rolls. If anyone out west want to trade I will swap only rolls not searched for 2011P. Just PM me. LARA if you would
like it I'll send you a roll of OBW 2011P cent at no charge it only cost me 50c plus shipping.
