    ngc registry

Well i sent my 10 s rpm 2 to ngc today. I also just joined them today. As most of you know when you join a tpg you get some of there special features. I was on the population report for the 10 s rpm and it had only 5, and none above 58 mine should be 63 or so. My question is how accurate are pop reports? And how do they affect your registry. Im very interested in joining there registry sounds like alot of fun. Any thoughts on registry?

Registry gets expensive IMO. I like the thought of selling to registry collectors though . Good luck. If it's the one in your avatar, I think you stand a chance.

I am a member of the PCGS registry and I love it. Every certified coin I own is on there. I am slowly working on a complete certified Wheat Cent collection. http://www.pcgs.com/SetRegistry/publ...x?s=57962&ac=1

The population report on "minor" varieties can be deceiving, because most collectors don't get there varieties certified, and when they do they usually choose a cheaper grading company. The ANACS pop report may give you a better idea. At one time they only charged an additional $1 for varieties.

If you provide the variety number when you submit it is $5.00 per coin. If you do not list the variety number and they have to do the research it is $10.00 per coin.
