Is it just me, or are the 2009 Lincoln cents disappearing faster than Obama's rating points?
In customer rolls, bank boxes and pocket change, I used to average about 10% being 2009D (all four iterations). Here in California, I rarely get 2009P versions. And occasionally, I would stumble onto a BU roll (in a business' till) and acquire that.
But now, I am lucky if I get one example per roll. I can go multiple rolls without finding a single example.
Heck, I still get 1968-1974S at about 3%, but virtually no 2009s.
I suppose it is safe to assume that people are hoarding those because of the 4 different (one year only) designs.
