I'm looking to buy some albums for my coins. I would like to get the Dansco or Whitman albums. So I would like to ask if anyone knows a good place to buy them. Where I can get the best deal. Maybe someone here has some they may have upgraded from and wants to sell them.
I feel like I'm back in time. With silver prices up gas only cost 15 cents a gallon. So I'm planing on putting some silver up on ebay to buy these albums with.

Actually, local coin shops usually have used ones for dirt cheap.

I must somewhat discourge the use of albums if you're working on a serious collection. They box you into only collecting certain coins and just one of each. As you get older and collect more Lincolns, you'll find the album very limiting. I've found that I often have many examples of certain years and mints that I wish to keep. For that reason I use binder pages and 2x2's. With this method I can have a normal, full red coin, a nice toner, an error and maybe a variety or two for whatever year/mint I choose. It's the ultimate in flexibility. And, if I don't want a coin like the 1955 doubled die obverse, I don't have than nagging hole staring at me. LOL

Thanks. I have all my copper coins in 1.5s in a binder. I just want to get my silver into pretty little books. I'm debateing selling off a lot of my silver anyway. I think now may be a good time
