    Nice coin on eBay

This seems like a rather reasonable price for this coin- http://www.ebay.com/itm/2000-Lincoln...ht_1287wt_1189

What do you think the potential resale value is?

It is priced about right for the grade and resale would not be that great.

I'm not sure what you mean, but it's clad, so there's copper in the center, then an outer layer of copper/nickel.

It's already way overpriced. These errors have been selling for less than $500 lately on eBay and in Heritage auctions. Same for nickels on struck cents.

I think if you look at the pictures of the slab that it has to be the lighting he is using or the wrong settings on his camera.

My Avatar is a cent struck on a dime planchet and the lighting is not correct on it also.

i think these depend on alot of factors.
                are both dates seen easily?
is it a zinc year cent or a copper year cent.
is it a silver year dime.
                how dramatic is the overstrike.
                grade of the coin.
                eye appeal.
obverse to obverse or obverse to reverse.

this 1976 overstrike just sold at Heritage for $1,380.00 on 4/29/2011

so....there are many factors to determine the desireablity and the price.

each one is unique...there are no 2 coins exactly the same.
