    It doesn't matter if it's real or not. The seller gives none of the most important information on this coin ie...weight, authentication, a DATE! (That piece of paper means nothing). Most of all...you can't see what you're buying!
    He could have got it from off the ground and is trying to sell it. IMO.

          Yep, no proof whatsoever, looks like an experiment coin to me. There's absolutely ZERO chance of me ever buying one of these without it being BU with carthwheel luster.

            Looks like one of the coins I found in the ground. If that qualifies, I have a really dirty 1944-D penny that is definitely struck on a steel planchet!
