WOW!!! ATARIAN YOU LOOK LIKE YOUR READY FOR TAKEOFF!!! ....HOUSTON ATARIAN IS READY!! Kidding aside, I like your setup. I need to move to a bigger house just to get me my own space, but I think I have me an idea already thanks to your pictures. Thank you much for sharing.
Funny DCW, but so true!
It reminds me of when I was single and I had time for every little detail. I wouldnt trade my life now...but I do miss that. You go Atarian.
Well if things go well this this GF im gonna end up with a wife and a kid. SO things can change fast. If so Then I have to think about my 2 classic cars (84 monte carlo SS, 86 Camaro ) and my daily driver. My belief has always been do it right or dont bother. So the book has been that way . My cars have been that way . My hotwheels/matchbox collection has been that way. Just everything was done big or not at all. The desk is just a Staples 99.99 special kinda cheaply made as the fake wood is warped.
My favorite parts to the set up is the microscope which has done more than its share to help the collection grow. ( getting bulbs was the biggest challange). $50 scope wasnt bad. Also the $25 digital scope camera I got from coinman2009. Both have paid off and done wonders.
Outside of that I want a new wrap around desk with a special section for photography and maybe a computer specially for that. Some time off but still something to think about.

If I can offer a little advice. Life is just a question of balancing all of your loves such as wife,hobby/business/personal time etc.
I found out pretty late so I'm playing catch-up. I guess you'll start to sharpen your focus as time marches on. Wish you all the
best and know you will be successful.
Fire Dept duck, a red devil duck, orange devil duck with horns , a tiger stripe duck ( that reminds me of my late cat Tiggar), a Princess duck to remind me of the love of my life. and a regular duck cause I needed one more to even out the monitor. Some how over the years my female friends started calling my duckie I think it goes back to my foot surgery and how i waddled like a duck till my foot healed. BUT being a fan of the feathered friends it kinda stuck.
Anyone else have a coin command center where they work on coins and command their coins from?

I have a 10 by 12 foot room all to myself. I have cafeteria table along the wall with small desk
at right angle to table and in front of window (for glancing at coin-at window, coin-at window)
I have shelves above table with my 16 boxes of 2X2's, I have 13" TV, radio, police scanner, two
book shelves, computer, big closet with coins stuff in it, pictures on the walls, large dresser with
clothes in it that bedroom won't hold, but coin stuff on it, a glider rocker for naps and holding
Pepe Gene (always give your dogs and kids middle names, makes yelling at them easier), and desk
chair on wheels with plastic mat under it. Just right, but no room for expansion, I already have some
of Jan's sewing machine collection in here also, she has 24 now. Comfy, cozy, all in reach, all kept
in it's places, nothing laying around, organized. I despise the term "man cave", this is just Penny Room.
Cool area - classic cars are another "money pit". I have sold some of my coins to support my other obsession "model t fords. "
Coins and cars - good combo!!
