    What to do.

I bought 7 of these 25c rolls at a coin show. I don't remember how long ago. I open one roll and they were all 1968S BU. I have 6 unopen that are all tails/tails. They are all BU rolls. You all know I sell alot of coins and I am trying to deside to open them or sell them as myst rolls. What would you do?

Yep. Goldcoast Rare Coins has been selling the "Stimpler" collection for quite some time now on Ebay. I've purchased a couple of rolls and come out with some nice coins and some minor RPMs. I'd open them.

            Hi
Do the tails that are showing match what you have opened. Should be easy to check markers

By pure definition, these aren't Original Bankwrapped Rolls, they've been wrapped to pay tribute to or promote someone's personal collection. Not saying they've been searched for varieties, but as far as being truly original in the sense of an OBW, it's not possible. I also think it's rather fishy that the seller has 4 or 5 dated 25c. rolls and DOZENS of "mystery rolls". It's pretty well known that the unknown sells better than the clearly described on eBay.

Frank- probably no harm in opening them, but personally, if I could sell them for more than I paid, I'd be all over that. Nobody can decide for you but you, let us know though!

Thanks for the replys. It's pretty clear to just open them, and that I did. All coins were BU. I have 1960 D, 59D, 68,68S, 1975 P,
61D. I hope there are some good ones on the 1960 D. I'll let you know. First I'm going to the Baltimore Expo today and what good coins I can find.

Frank...the one roll of BU 1960 D's that I found (in a liquor store) had 8 "full" DDO's, a bunch of small date over large dates, and a wheelbarrow full of RPM's....

that roll really increased my knowledge of the 1960-D series...it was a nice crash course.

I'm looking forward to seeing you hit the jackpot with your roll!
