    Coins from ANACS

    Hey friends
    I just got a email from ANACS stating they were shipping my coins back to me. I am excited about the MS63 graded 1999 WAM.
    Also glad to have 5 slabbed 1DO-017 now!! Its been a nice year!!!

    Anyway here is a list for you, Anyone have a idea what MS 60 DETAILS means??

      The details may mean it has been cleaned. Congrats on the coins though !

          It means the coin is damaged, cleaned, corroded etc. It will tell you on the tag when you get it.

          Note: Nice grades on your coins and nice additions to your collection Shannon!!!

                  Those are greaaaaat Shannon. I have my eyes red looking for the 2006 017 and the 99 wam. All I find is the 018's.

                  Good choices to have graded.

                          ANACS is extremely liberal/generous with their MS60 DETAILS labels.

                          I've pulled countless coins from OBWs that they've labeled as either that or "RECOLORED". So many that it's caused me to greatly reduce the amount of business I do with them.

                              NGC is getting really bad about it also and I quit doing business with them unless it is a really nice error I want attributed. Maybe they all have "sniffer thingy ma jigs" they use on the coins like PCGS supposedly does for doctored coins.
