I've been through 12,500 cents in the last week and a half, and can't remember when the "pickins" have been this slim since I started searching in July. I did find this 1974 D where the mint mark is very low. I know it's nothing major, but thought it was interesting. Next is another 1960 P with a die chip in the 9. Lastly is a 1960 P with what I think is a small chip on the 1? Like I said, pretty boring, but better than nothing I spose!!

Just went through a similar streak myself lately... probably barrelled through 25,000 before i got a "considerable" find. Last night's brick was surprisingly good to me... despite a canadian cent per roll. Gonna finish that one up tonight, and get the cycle geared for the weekend. -
Hi
Lately searching is slow. Some small stuff but not like it was - even a couple of months ago. I'm starting to think that for awhile in my area I was the only searcher. I think there are more now. I did find a Indian cent yesterday but nothing real serious. I hope it gets better. I remember for the 2 years from may 2008 to sept 2010 - we would find all kinds of stuff. I mean we even found 5 1972 ddo-001's! What it has done to me is that I search harder - meaning I check each coin for anything. Just look at the wide am's. Very very few. I'm just hoping like the cold streaks in the past, all of a sudden you find that energy booster!
One thing is remaining the same - alot of wheats.
I can relate to the cold!
Thx
