Is this a 1960 small date proof ?

I bought this 1960 proof set because it was advertised as a small date cent, and because I'm still a newbie, but after reading up on the differences between 1960 small and large date, I'm convinced I paid extra for a normal large date cent. The seller is still insisting that it's a small date cent.

Can anyone here take a look at the pictures and let me know if you can determine whether it's truly a small date 1960 cent?

    Thank you.

(I wrote a post like this last night, but I don't think it made it here, so I apologize if this is a duplicate post.)

Welcome to the forum, if you have the set with you right now, I would suggest taking pictures of it, because the photos on ebay are not large enough for me to tell. Check out this link, maybe it can help you.

      best of luck.
Unfortunately, my son just recently lost my digital camera, and I won't be able to get another until sometime after the New Year, so I cannot post better pictures. The set in the eBay advert is the exact set that I did receive though.

If you look at the 2nd photo in the ad and zoom, it's not as closeup as it could be, but I think even that photo shows that the penny is large date.

I also have 1960 small date and large date singles in BU, and a single proof 1960 small date, and it's obvious to me that the penny in the proof set is large date.

I was actually hoping that a few of you here might agree with me and I could tell the eBay seller what members here thought. This seller doesn't want to admit that his advertisement was false.

      Thank you for looking !

Definitely large date, but not all hope is lost. There's at least some chance it could be a doubled die.

If I were forced to guess, I would say large date, but the picture pixilates before it gets large enough for me to determine anything for sure.

I would agree that it appears to be a large date. Although, I can't be 100% positive due to the picture quality. Welcome to the forum!

VERY hard to tell from the pictures, but I zoomed in and it does look like a large date to me.

Ditto, I zoomed in and it appears to be a large date, but like the others it blurs before I could really see with positive proof
