    Does this help you Jason?

They get the pennies or whatever denomination from the customer, run them thru their counting machine and bag them up like this to return to the Federal Reserve to re-cycle.

Only thing more I can tell you is just ask for them. My banks here in NC (small town) do not use them. My daughter get them from a Bank in East Ellijay, GA. They have them all of the time. I guess it depends on your bank and how much change they accumulate to turn back in to the Feds for recycle. Sorry David no other info.

ok here the pitch that i use and it works most of the time, i am teaching my grand kids how to collect coins becasue that what i like, then i ask it they have customer rolled penny that i can buy, they say that they bag and tag to be recyle i say thats ok ill take the whole bag it will give the kids something to look thur..most of the bags are 50.00...so i offer to pick up and carry to counter to buy...most of the time you have to talk to the teller that runs the vault because she is the ont that really knows whats at the bank...if she has days she shippes them out then offer to come back a day ot two before...i fine that i can get the bags most any time...the only problem is when you through you have to turn in the junk..remember that you have to have two places one to return junk to (my real bank)...bags from the rest...and yes i do teach the grands how to go thur pennys Richard

I re-roll everything I get from the banks, whether it be bags or boxes. When I return boxes I have gone thru I ask the teller to exchange the box out or take the rolls out of the box to count the rolls and give me the empty boxes. They do this most of the time because they have to tray the rolls to count them. This way if I get bags I also have empty boxes to put re-rolled coins into to return to the bank.

I order my flat rolls at www.Banksupplies.com. I order 10 trays of 1,000 each tray to re-roll pennies or I ask my bank sometimes for extra flat rolls to roll up pennies. I do anything to keep the bank teller happy also the vault teller who usually is the supervisor for the tellers.
