    Happy Birthday Mom!

I changed my Avatar today in memory of my Mother who passed away on 2-23-2009. Today would have been her 75th Birthday! I am who I am as a direct result of this amazing woman, who was (and still is) my hero. She raised us five stubborn, opinionated, unruly kids to be individuals and to aim for the stars. I know she looks down and (most of the time) smiles. HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM!! (FYI.. In the Avatar pic she is sitting on my Harley back in 1992. No, didn't ride it, but got a ride on it from me!)

Cheers Bill! I'm also one of 5 kids, the oldest, all of us were raised by our stay-at-home mom (because dad busted his butt bringing home the bacon and keeping the house from falling apart!). I'm blessed to still have her in my life.

I don't know where I'd be without my own mother, but certainly worse off for it.

    Happy birthday to your mom!

Pretty cool Bill, the one ride my mom had on my Low Rider, she leaned the opposite way on turns...I kept thinking my tires were low or something

Yea - it's tough - I still feel her presence every day even though it's been 30 years in march - 30 years!
I hope there is a heaven.
