    1909-s vdb

    Hi:
While back I said I was looking between the s-vdb or the 1955/1955.
This is our decision. Pictures dont show - but it is beautiful as only a coin collector would know. Now to start saving for the last regular - 1914-d in XF40/45. Our regular collection will be complete.
My daughter and I are excited - and my only advise is if you can, buy the high end grades. The pictures dont show but this coin has an even choclate and slightly red surfaces with not a problem in any field.
Thanks guys and JeanK for letting us brag a little.
    Thanks
    Roger and Heidi Biller

Nice grade to add to your collection. Yes you are right if you make a major purchase you want to get the best you can and think of it as a long term investment. Congrats Roger and Heidi.

Congratulations Roger. That is a very sweet pick-up for your collection. I don't know why, but I am particularly partial to nice brown cents rather than red. They just look so much better to me with a nice even brown color.
