    The area just below bay 2 first made me think yes. But after looking closer I don't think this is wavy step. IMHO
    Top step across appears wear in die.

      I think we're looking for an extension of the columns down thru the steps and I don't see that here.

        It could be die abrasion, machine doubling or it could be hub doubling:

        But from the image it is hard to tell. We need to see the area a little closer to see what is going on?
