Interesting to say the least. It appears to have a second Lincoln on the reverse. Area is raised.
I took a few pictures to try and show you what I see.
Thanks in advance for your opinions.
It's possible, it could also be plating blisters similarly spaced. I think one of the doubled die attributers would have to see it in hand to know for sure. Nice catch!
I definitely see what you're talking about. It doesn't look like it would pass the overlay test. The angle of the arm looks too diagonal, whereas it should more vertical. It may be some random plating issues that match up quite well with the statue. Did you try the compressing it with a toothpick? Let's see what some of the experts say.

It looks so much better in hand without the bright lighting from my dino. I have a bunch of "interesting" coins but this one is certainly now at the top of my pile. LOL..
I wonder if I could "rent an attributer" for a day to go through my bucket hmmmm...LOL..
Due to the lighting issues here, I'd consider any personal opinion on this coin would best be saved until it was in-hand to examine.
I agree..
I go through about 1000 pennies a day and am quite familiar with plating bubbles/blisters and this one appears different. I guess I'll get around to sending it in sooner or later..
I agree it's nice to see you back around. Keep em coming!
Thank you
Last week I found another bank willing to order me boxes of pennies whenever I want them so I'm really excited again and searching like crazy.. woo hoo!!
