    Mint marks Everywhere...

    Besides a minor RPM find, it's been a little slow for me lately. I set aside cents like these whenever the MM placement is a little "odd". I know there's no real value or rarity at all, but still find them interesting and neat to run across during my searches. Bill

    Wow Bill- That '69-S is interesting- I've literally searched 10s of thousands of that date now, not sure I recall seeing that placement. Interesting indeed!

      A real nice assoement of positions. Look for the 11958-D that has a mintmark way to the west. Ill check - i know i have a couple.

        I'm with Chris, I've never seen a 69-S in that position.

            i see faint Ds under the 88D. Maybe it's just my imagination. I'd sure take an other look though.

              I didn't notice that until you pointed it out. Coin is locked up in my office at work, so will definitely check it tomorrow. Thanks for the heads up!

                    Just did an in hand on the 88D again, and sadly, it must have just been the angle of the picture/lighting as there is nothing in the field around the MM that would indicate a 2nd D or an 8. Bill
