    can black spots be removed safely?

    i have a couple of 1989-P OBW rolls..super coins but have spots.

    From what I know the answer is no. You can actually remove them the process just destroys the coin.

          Thats what I thought.I was hoping someone came up with some new formula of xylenopolyglycolmorphoriccloric acid mixed with bullfrog blood that might work.

            Carbon spots are forever unless you're willing to ruin the coin. The only way I've been successful at removing them is with high temperatures which will vaporize them at the cost of a ruined coin.
