This pool water intrigued me so I had to run my own tests. Note the conditions are different than James pool. Mine is a swim spa I use for hydrotherapy.
Temp is 100°f
We use chlorine which was at 1.5 ppm
PH 7.5
I cannot remember what the alkalinity was, but was in normal range.
The coins were in the water for over an hour with me in my pocket.
The first 4 pics are before and the latter 4 are the after pics. There was some improvement but nothing like what James saw with his. Maybe it is the salt filter with the chemical separation of the Sodium and Chlorine. I am most certainly not a chemist and have no idea.
So James you got the water, hmmm, maybe it is the water.... lol
