Went to a couple banks today while out of town. Hoping to get some coins to search. First bank I got two boxes of cents and noticed when I got in the car that they were all 2008P unc. rolls.
I went to a second bank and got a box I could search through.
Hahaha...Any real varieties in 08 found yet?. i went and got me a $10 tray of cents yesterday and a Fed box today..I feel like Im missing out on something if i dont have any cents to search thru!!!.lol
Ok......Ever since 04 I have bought 2 ea. P & D boxes from each year since I started collecting. It was difficult to locate from year to year because of the bank's policies on being a member but I would ask guy's from work to ask when they went to there bank. I still have them so I guess I will retire one day and check them. I hope!
I actually have boxes from 2004 thru 2008 and I keep them intact until someone makes a major find then go thru them. That way I don't feel as if I am wasting my time.
All my boxes are dated that way if I am in the neighborhood (Close to the area) where the find was made and close to the date on the box I will go thru them.
I guess you can call that "The Height of Laziness"

I guess I never thought of it that way. Sometimes the information we receive might be a year away. That is a good quote to think about.
I bought a box of 2006-D and held on to those but nothing was being found and I needed gas money so I changed those in and soon after that the double columns started being found. Wish I would of kept em!
I'd say hold on to them until something worthwhile is found. Don't get impatient.
