I have picked up a few in the past at shows in the "bargain bins." I think the most I ever paid was a buck. I love those bargain bins. I was at one show last fall, looking through a good sized bin. The dealer was talking to another customer about some VAM's he had slabbed for way too much money. The customer asked why he brings the crappy bins to the show. He told him he had to at least have something the "bottom feeders" will buy. A few moments later I handed him my pile from the junk bin. I paid something like $10 for about 30 coins. After paying for them I reached into the stack and pulled out a Gem BU 1988-P RDV-006. It cost me a whole quarter. I said to him, "Well, this bottom feeder is going to sell this coin for $100." Then I just turned and walked away. Well, I did sell it. I only got $85, but for only costing a quarter, I will take that markup all day.Last edited by seal006; 07-15-2012, 08:43 PM."If Free Speech stops when someone gets offended, it is not really Free Speech."Comment
